After I commented on Jaret's blog asking him if I could post his photo of a cat sticking out its tongue, he emailed me 5 photos, stating that I had asked the right person. As I remarked in my reply email, his cats do seem to possess an unusual predilection for sticking out their tongues!

Photo #3: My personal favorite, Sabaca Jee (Baabaa) sticking out his tongue.

"She is sighted several times a day with her tongue out."

Actually--though it looks funny, cute and bizarre--if a cat tends to stick out its tongue a lot, this could indicate a medical condition... More info here)

Yes, this kitty loves to stick out her tongue.

Even though this is a snapshot of her sticking out the tongue in the process of licking the faucet (rather than an isolated incident of tongue protrusion), the tongue is visible, and therefore this is a valid addition to our collection.
